I'm Anrayea Charlton, a dedicated and passionate Loctician based in the charming community of Gretna, Virginia. My journey with natural hair styling isn't just a career, it's a story interwoven with the threads of family, love, and shared experiences. 

As the eldest of four girls, my love for hair care was nurtured from a young age. I fondly remember the hours spent doing my younger sisters' hair, a tradition that continues to this day. These cherished moments sparked a lifelong passion for natural hair styling and a deep understanding of the care and attention required to maintain and enhance its beauty.

In my own household, my husband and our four beautiful children, three girls and a boy, keep me inspired and grounded. They share my enthusiasm for natural hair, acting as my cheerleaders, my critics, and my inspiration. My family is my heart, and it's this heart I bring to my work every day.

My salon, or as I like to call it, my 'home away from home,' is a place of warmth and creativity. As a home-based stylist, I provide a relaxed, family-friendly environment where clients of all ages feel comfortable and welcome. I offer a range of services from innovative new styles to time-honored classics, all designed to celebrate the natural beauty of your hair.

For the little ones, aged 5 and above, I offer a gentle and engaging approach, turning hair styling into an exciting and enjoyable experience. For the gentlemen, rest assured that my salon is a space where you can explore and embrace your natural hair in a relaxed, inclusive atmosphere.

Each booking you make will be verified for accuracy and to ensure a seamless experience. Please understand that while I strive to accommodate all requests, I may exercise my right to not accept bookings under certain circumstances. My goal is always to provide the highest quality service to each client, and this sometimes means limiting the number of appointments I accept.

Appointment and Cancellation Policy
Appointment and Cancellation Policy:

1. **Booking and Payment:** All appointments must be booked and paid for in advance through our online platform, Bookings by Locticians. Upon receiving your appointment request and payment, I will verify and confirm your booking within 24 hours. Please note that while I strive to accommodate all requests, I reserve the right to not accept bookings under certain circumstances to ensure the quality of service to each client.

2. **Cancellation by the Client:** Life happens, and sometimes you'll need to cancel or reschedule an appointment. If you need to cancel or reschedule, please do so at least 24 hours prior to your appointment time. If you cancel your appointment within this timeframe, your payment will be fully refunded. Cancellations made less than 24 hours before the appointment time will not be eligible for a refund. This allows me to offer the slot to other clients who may be on the waiting list.

3. **No-Shows:** If a client does not show up for their appointment without notifying me, this will be recorded as a 'no-show' and the prepayment will not be refunded. After two 'no-shows,' I reserve the right to refuse further bookings.

4. **Late Arrivals:** Please aim to arrive at your appointment on time. If you are running late, please notify me as soon as possible. I will do my best to accommodate you; however, please understand that your appointment may need to be shortened to respect the time of the next client.

5. **Cancellation by the Stylist:** In the unlikely event that I need to cancel or reschedule your appointment due to an unforeseen circumstance, I will notify you as soon as possible to arrange a new appointment at a time convenient for you. Your prepayment will be applied to the rescheduled appointment or refunded in full based on your preference.
