About Laughing Buddha
At Laughing Buddha Comedy, we offer Stand Up Comedy classes, workshops, and private coaching to all levels. We are a community of aspiring comedians, all are welcome.
Unlike other schools in the city, we offer small classes led by professional instructors in a fun and supportive environment conveniently located in Manhattan. We are the only major comedy school owned by a professional working comedian, Jeff Lawrence.
We also believe you can't teach the craft of stand up comedy without stage time, so we have also become the largest producer of Stand Up Comedy Shows and Open Mics in NYC with over 100 events a month in many of the city's top venues.
We are open to any and all age levels. So whether you've never stepped foot on stage before or you're a seasoned entertainer or your just looking to enjoy the shows, we offer something for everyone.
