Greetings to all members of the Locticians Community and Directory! We are here today to celebrate and affirm the beauty and uniqueness of all hair types, from kinky, coily, wavy, curly, and beyond! Hair is an essential part of our identity and an expression of our individuality. It is important for us to appreciate our hair for its unique texture and shape and to learn how to properly care for it. Let us share affirmations and tips on how to embrace and love our natural hair. Here are some of my own affirmations: • I am proud of my natural hair and the beauty that comes with it. • I am confident in my natural hair and accept it for all it is. • I will take the time to properly care for my hair and nourish it with the right products. • I will not succumb to societal pressures to conform to a certain beauty standard. • I will empower and uplift other people of color with diverse hair types. I encourage everyone to share their own affirmations, personal journeys, and tips for embracing and loving their natural hair.
